Apart from renewing your car insurance, you will also need to renew your road tax. But you must have a valid insurance policy before you can renew your road tax. Thus, after you have received the cover note, you can then proceed to any POS Office or goes online to MYEG to renew your road tax.

When we issue you the cover note, we would at the same time submit your cover note information to JPJ system, thus, enabling your road tax renewal. How much to pay for your road tax, you can refer to the below table, remember that if you renew through POS office, there will be a RM2 service charge.
